
This is part ten in a ten part series of blog posts addressing myths about melanin. This is one of the stranger myths. It is a claim that the Atlanta Child Murders were a conspiracy to extract either melanin or some other mysterious substance from Black children.
- True. Children in Atlanta were murdered.
- True. The murdered children had high levels of melanin in their skin.
- False. No evidence of melanin having any connection to their murders has been presented.
