“Person of color” Fails At Dumbing Down Melanin

Another liberal commentator did it. She said “Person of color” as though it was some meaningless, throwaway phrase. What is remarkable about the use of that term is what it says without saying it. Is “white” not a color? The phrase implies white is not a color because, so-called “white” people are not included in the group of “people of color.” Melanin challenged people who call themselves white while referring to others as “People of color” miss the obvious….white is a color.

When referring to “people of color” another thing they overlook is that color they referred to comes from melanin. We do not know if this is a deliberate disinformation campaign or not. We can only state that since they refer to people of color, they have  chosen to deny melanin. When they say person of color they are saying either they don’t know melanin is the aromatic biopolymer and organic semiconductor that makes Black people black, in which case they are unqualified to speak or they know about melanin and they are deliberately acting to dumb it down, which again makes them unqualified to speak.

“People of color” and “Colored people” both imply that the standard model for people is something other than “colored.” For hundreds of thousands of years, when there was no one else on the planet, melanin people were here. To speak of “people of color” or “colored people” denies the true history of the human race. That denial fails to flip the origins of humanity in terms of color spectrum.

We know the truth.

What is really happening when liberals use terms like “People of color?” They are denying the paramountcy of melanin. It is patronizing and condescending for someone to refer to “people of color” in this day and age as if melanin does not exist. The worst part about it is they act as if we do not know what is happening. We do.

Since we not only know what is happening, we are using our power to define the reality of our experience to produce a result. One of the definitions we are using now is the “Melanin Challenged Inferiority Complex” or M-SICK.

Melanin Challenged Inferiority Complex consists of three symptoms:

The illusion that people are white has been an impediment to human progress for long enough. Melanin people have the responsibility to bring melanin challenged people into awareness a new day has begun if for no other reason than to remove the impediments from the path of human progress. We have to speak openly about melanin. We have to help melanin challenged people accept the fact that there is not, now, nor has there ever been a single quantifiable, empirical phenomenon upon which to base the idea that people are white. Furthermore, we must inform them that there is no material substance from which to derive so-called white people. Doing all the above is part of the healing process we call Mchakato wa uponyaji. Healing through Mchkato wa uponyaji allows us to perceive reality beyond the melanin challenged paradigm. A perspective which we identify as the Ubuntu paradigm.

We know what melanin is. We know melanin is worth over $395 a gram more than gold. The world as we know it is changing because of the dollar value of melanin. Calling people of melanin “people of color” when we know about melanin and learn more about it everyday will not stop Keyamsha the Awakening or slow it down.

At this moment an awakening is happening among melanin people. Melanin challenged people did not start this awakening and they can not stop it. The best they can do is accept the fact Keyamsha the Awakening is happening and everything else will take care of itself.

Embrace the truth. The highest form of love is living truth with each other.

The truth is we survived being evicted from our homes. We survived the lynching of at least 148 Black women in the USA, four of whom were pregnant and two of whom had their unborn babies forcibly removed from their womb. We survived forced servitude. We survived Jim Crow. We survived the crack cocaine era. We survived AIDS. Melanin people survived apartheid, we survived colonialism and we are going to survive neo-colonialism. We survived living in a world where melanin challenged people color coded sin and virtue.

Melanin challenged people will survive putting away their “white” crutch in the Ubuntu paradigm.

The Mhotep Corporation uses its Keyamsha The Awakening brand to heighten perceptions and expand awareness. By producing content that engages, entertains and educates we create value for value relationships with our audience for mutual benefit. Mhotep is derived from the name of the architect and builder of the first pyramid in Kemet, so-called ancient Egypt. I formed the Mhotep Corporation in 2003 to produce and distribute 3D animation videos based on traditional African stories. Since then it has evolved to being a media production company including books. In a previous life I worked as a systems analyst developing solutions for government and multinational organizations. Born and educated in Washington, D.C. I have traveled to several places including Haiti, the Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, Nigeria (several times), Ethiopia (several times), Benin, Togo, and South Africa. I am married with three children.
