Eradicate the Yurugu Virus and Return to the Way by Nzingha Olabisima

Yurugu by Marimba Ani
Yurugu by Marimba Ani is available for purchase here.

The Yurugu Virus possesses the thinking
and behavior of the people
When injected into the mind
stupidity, ignorance and greed
is exactly what you find.
It attacks the lower nature,
and infiltrates the soul,
it turns people into puppets,
the victims of control.

Tell-lie-vision disseminates
Yurugu’s point of view;
it teaches sex and violence on HBO
and corruption on the news.

The virus is insidious
and emerges from the world of hell.
It uses the power of materialism
to find places to dwell.

It is suicide and genocide
rolled up into one.
It has killed
and imprisoned the fathers
and given the babies guns.

The mamas walk the streets
in a zombie state of mind,
while their children live in death traps
with no protection from the crime.

And it multiplies and spreads
like a plague gone awry.
And will greet you with a grin,
and joyfully watch you die.

And if you don’t know the symptoms,
you will surely become its prey,
suffering is its constant companion
and without protection,
inside you, it will stay.

You can find it in the food
and the nightmares of your dreams.
It incubates in darkness
of heroine, crack, alcohol and cocaine.

It was created to destroy you,
to debilitate the mnd;
to disengage the spirit
and disconnect you from the divine.

Yurugu sucks the life force;
is the vampire of the soul;
the black widow spider
spinning webs of manipulation and control.
Yurugu is the bane to every heart and head
and spreads its chaotic tentacles
into the seed of the walking dead;

No one’s exempt from this airborne catastrophe;
its an omnipresent toxin
on a mission to deceive.
Isms and schisms emit its wicked creed
To justify mental slavery
and forgotten human needs;

It robs the mind of common sense;
cheats, steals and lies without pretense;
then it goes for the jugular vein
and keeps its hold until you go insane.

Look around and what do you see?
Division, hatred, suffering, and greed.
Families dying, one by one,
sisters crying,
and burying their sons

Brothers lost
in misery,
looking for love
to set them free;
and it never comes,
not as long as Yurugu
reigns as number one.

The only way to win the war
is talk to God
and open the door
beyond the veil of Babylon,
and into Zion for light and love;

Open your eyes
and return to the way;
leave Yurugu behind
in its banal grave;

Let go the hate and jealously,
self-destruction and vanity.
Heal your heart with constant prayer;
ask the creator to take you there.

Break the chains of linear time;
change your thoughts with this paradigm.
Love and life will set you free.
Mother Nature, the land and the sea.

Be at one with the universe,
sacred time and holy verse.
Raise you consciousness up on high.
In the creator’s love we will never die;
we will live for ever and a day.
Eradicate Yurugu’s Virus
and return to the way.

The Mhotep Corporation uses its Keyamsha The Awakening brand to heighten perceptions and expand awareness. By producing content that engages, entertains and educates we create value for value relationships with our audience for mutual benefit. Mhotep is derived from the name of the architect and builder of the first pyramid in Kemet, so-called ancient Egypt. I formed the Mhotep Corporation in 2003 to produce and distribute 3D animation videos based on traditional African stories. Since then it has evolved to being a media production company including books. In a previous life I worked as a systems analyst developing solutions for government and multinational organizations. Born and educated in Washington, D.C. I have traveled to several places including Haiti, the Bahamas, Mexico, Canada, Nigeria (several times), Ethiopia (several times), Benin, Togo, and South Africa. I am married with three children.

    1. She and all her peers sometimes give me the impression we are living in a parallel universe. Imagine all the people of African ancestry who do not know of Marimba Ani…or the Yurugu Virus…or Dr. John Henrik Clarke…or Dr. Chancellor James Williams…or Dr. Ben…and yet believe they are free.
