Do white people exist? I don’t know, but I do know melanin is worth $362.50 a gram. Melanin, the aromatic biopolymer and organic semiconductor that makes Black people black exists. That is true, not because we say it exists but because it is a quantifiable empirical phenomenon subject to the rules of space and time in at least four dimensions. Furthermore, melanin is the subject of scientific scrutiny. Hundreds of thousands of scholarly articles have been written on melanin. Additionally, nearly 1,000,000 US patents have been issued involving melanin. The Smithsonian Institution currently possesses a ” MELANIN bistable switch” assembled in 1973 as proof of melanin’s viability as a semiconductor. ![]() In contrast, so called whiteness, which allegedly, makes so-called “white” people white has no such evidence to support its existence. Though, in the legal sense, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, no evidence of so-called “white” from which derive so-called white people has ever been documented to exist. So-called whiteness is a totally irrational concept. It defies all the rules of logic and reason. Essentially, there is not now, nor has there ever been, a single quantifiable, empirical, phenomenon upon which to base the idea that people are white. Furthermore, there is no material substance from which to derive so-called “white” people. There is no place in nature where white can be found, put on a scale and weighed. White can not be observed under a microscope. Prior to the invention of race out of thin air by Johann Blumenbach no one had ever referred to a person as being “white.”
