Take the RBG Challenge – Wear Red, Black and Green on August 13 – Keyamsha the Awakening

wear red black and green on august 13 QUARTER SIZESend a message…make a statement…demonstrate mental emancipation!!! Wear Red, Black and Green on August 13. That day will begin the 96th year of Red, Black and Green as the colors of ALL Black people. In recognition of that historical event and all it represents, we at RBG Central issue the RBG Challenge and call for Black people, at home and abroad to wear Red, Black and Green on August 13.

It was August 13, 1920 when 20,000 members of the Universal Negro Improvement Association gathered in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. That was the thirteenth day of their first month long international convention. They came to publicly present the Declaration of Rights of Negro People of the World. The document is the physical embodiment of hope and aspiration for freedom in all its dimensions.

Declaration 39 reads:

That the colors Red, Black and Green be the colors of the Negro race.

That means Black People…African People…Colored People…Negro People…Afrodescendientes have a flag that unites them and it is almost 100 years old.

Our message: We deliberately intend to have total absolute and complete freedom in all its dimensions.

Our statement: we are ushering in the era when all the generations of humanity can be called blessed.

We see no better way to demonstrate mental emancipation than wearing Red, Black and Green on August 13.
